What are the masks and accessories made of?

All my masks and accessories are made of polyurethane resin. Here are some interesting characteristics of this material:

Lightweight: A mask weighs between 200 and 300 grams approximately.
Solid: It resists very well to blows and shocks, practical for LARP for example! (Be careful though, some mask models have thinner fragile areas such as teeth or the tips of the ears!)
Quite flexible: Unlike epoxy resin, this material retains a slight flexibility which makes it easier to wear as a mask. It is even possible to slightly widen/shrink a mask using a little heat (see below) ☺️

Why does it cost so much?

Making a mask with a unique design is unfortunately not done in the blink of an eye. It would be easier, wouldn’t it? 😉

Each mask (and accessory) on the shop goes through many stages of making. Some of them require more expensive materials than others (like silicone), but also more hours of work (especially sculpting)! To this are also added various taxes. To put it simply, the final price of a creation is therefore the sum of all these elements. And there you have it, you know everything! ♥

care and use tips

To keep your mask looking its best for as long as possible, here are a few tips:

Cleaning: If you need to clean it, you can simply use a cloth with a little water. (Be careful with the fabric/fur parts if there are any on your model! I advise you not to moisten them.)

Storage and use: Never store it in a place that is too hot! The heat could deform it more or less strongly and this is not always fixable! For the same reason, also be careful not to put it on a table in direct sunlight during hot days…
I also advise you not to store it in a place that is too cold, this could weaken it and take away its flexibility. In short, keep it in a temperate place!

Adapt to your face: When you receive your mask, if you think you need to widen it a little for your comfort, it is possible to do so using a simple hair dryer. I still advise you to do this outside or to air your room afterwards!
You can gently heat the edges of your mask from the inside until they soften a little. (Be careful not to heat it too much or you risk burning yourself or deforming it!!)
You can then move the edges apart/closer as you wish. 😊

Is it possible to order a CUSTOMIZED mask?

Yes, of course! All custom orders are welcome, from a simple painting on an existing model to a complete sculpture of a new model! It will also be a pleasure for me to make a headdress adapted to your tastes. ♥
